Out of the 99 Test matches played between India and West Indies, WI have won 30, India have won 23 while 46 matches have ended in a draw.
West Indies lead the Test record in the Caribbean. Out of the 52 matches played, WI have won 16, India emerged victorious in 10 Test matches while 26 have ended in a draw.
West Indies have not won a Test match against India since 2002.
India beat West Indies 2-0 in their previous Test series clash in 2019. They won by 318 runs in the first Test and by 257 runs in the second.
