India's opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad scripted history in the T20I series against Australia by becoming the first-ever Indian batsman to score a century against the "Aussies" in T20I format. He consistently performed for the "Men in Blue" in that series. He ended the Australia series as the highest run-scorer
Yashasvi Jaiswal
A sensational left-handed batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has a rich vein of form in T20Is. His aggressive approach in the Australia series gave the "Men in Blue" an elevated start in most matches. He will look to continue his aggressive gameplay against South Africa as well and keep the Proteas out of the game within a span of a few overs
Ravi Bishnoi
India's leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi who recently became the number one T20I bowler will also feature in the Indian side ahead of the first clash. Bishnoi after claiming nine wickets against Australia registered his name in the list of Indian bowlers to take the most number of wickets in a bilateral series. He has now equalled the record with Ravichandran Ashwin who registered nine wickets against Sri Lanka.
