Most Centuries

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has played 148 T20I matches and has registered four centuries. He is currently sharing the record of most T20I centuries with the ICC number one T20I batsman Suryakumar Yadav and Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell who have four centuries each. If the star Indian opener scores a century against Afghanistan in this series then he will be the first player to score five T20I centuries

Most T20I matches

So far, Rohit Sharma has featured in 148 T20I matches. If he plays at least two out of three T20Is against Afghanistan, he will become the first player to play 150 matches in the T20 International

Most Sixes

India's six-hitting maestro Rohit Sharma is just shy of 18 sixes from registering his name for the most number of sixes in T20Is. If he smashes 18 sixes in the series against Afghanistan, Sharma will be the first player to complete 200 T20I sixes

4,000 T20I runs

India's stalwart batsman Virat Kohli is the first player to achieve the unique feat of completing 4,000 T20I runs. Rohit Sharma is just falling short of just 147 runs from becoming the second batsman to achieve the feat. Currently, he has 3,853 T20I runs under his belt

Most T20I wins as captain

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni holds the record for most T20I wins as captain which is 41. So far, Rohit Sharma has captained India in 51 T20I matches out of which has registered 39 wins. If Team India wins all three matches against Afghanistan under Sharma's captaincy, he will be the most successful Indian captain in T20Is
