Today, five-time champions Australia will clash with Afghanistan in Mumbai at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The coin for the toss will be flipped around 1.30 pm and the match will start at 2.00 pm

Australia did not have a successful start at the beginning of the ICC World Cup 2023 but after the losses of the first two matches, they have won all five games. The Aussies are in the third position with 10 points in the ICC World Cup 2023 points table

Afghanistan is one of the teams which have impressed cricket fans by delivering performances in all aspects. They have won four games out of seven and are in sixth place in the points table with 10 points

The dashing all-rounder missed the five-time champions' match against England here on Saturday, as he had flown back briefly following the demise of his grandmother. Mitchell Marsh is available for today's match against Afghanistan

Aussie's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell missed the match against England after he fell off a golf cart. He has been seen striking the ball well in the nets in Mumbai and is available for selection ahead of today's clash

Australia and Afghanistan have faced each other in just three ODI matches out of which the Aussies are leading with three wins and the Afghans have not won a single match against them

Both teams are alive in the qualification race for the semi-finals of the ICC World Cup 2023. Australia needs to defeat Afghanistan today to qualify for the semi-final. On the other hand, the Afghans need to win the remaining two matches for the qualification
