Currently, he is just one ton away from becoming the player to register the most number of centuries in the history of ODI cricket

Currently, the Indian skipper holds the record for most ODI World Cup centuries by a player which is seven. Sharma achieved this milestone in the ICC World Cup 2023 match against Afghanistan by smashing a blistering 131 runs. His knock included 16 fours and 5 sixes
