India vs Pakistan, the biggest rivalry in cricket is underway at the the Narendra Modi Stadium. This is the first time after seven years that Pakistan is playing a match against India in India. An electrifying environment and hunger for the win among the players makes the game even more interesting

Rohit Sharma flipped the coin and won the toss against Pakistan. India elected to bowl first and opener Shubman Gill is back in the squad after recovering from his illness. Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq opened the inning for Pakistan

Pakistan kept losing wickets in quick succession. Abdullah Shafique was dismissed by Mohammed Siraj for 20 runs and Imam-Ul-Haq smashed 36 runs before getting caught by KL Rahul behind the wickets in Hardik Pandya's over. Pakistan was 74 for 2 wickets after the end of the 13th over. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan took the charge thereafter

Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan together stabilized Pakistan's inning. Babar Azam played an inning of 50 runs in which he smashed 7 fours. Mohammed Siraj bowled out Babar in the 30th over. Pakistan was 156 for 3 wickets. Saud Shakeel later joined Rizwan, but Kuldeep Yadav sent back Shakeel and Iftikhar Ahmed for six runs and four runs, respectively

Later in the match, Jasprit Bumrah outfoxes steady Mohammad Rizwan for 49 runs. Rizwan misses his third consecutive fifty in the ICC World Cup 2023 by just 1 run. India's speedster then picks the wicket of Shadab Khan

Ravindra Jadeja bluffed Hasan Ali for 12 runs and Haris Rauf for two runs. Indian bowlers registered two wickets each under their name. Pakistan was bowled out for 191 runs. Team India needs to chase down the target of 192 runs against their arch-rivals in Gujarat's Motera Stadium
