The finals of the ICC World Cup 2023 between India and Australia will be played in Gujarat at the Motera Stadium. The coin for the toss will be flipped around 1.30 pm and the match will start at 2 pm

So far, the 'Aussies' have clashed with the 'Men in Blue' in 150 ODI matches out of which Australia is leading with 83 wins and India has come victorious on 57 occasions. 10 matches between both teams ended in a tie

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is just falling short of one century to level the record of Sachin Tendulkar for registering the most centuries by an Indian batsman against Australia which is nine. So far, Rohit has eight centuries against the five-time champions Australia in 44 ODI matches

Continuing his rich vein in form, even India's 'Run-Machine' Virat Kohli is just one ton away from levelling Tendulkar's record of most ODI centuries against Australia by an Indian batsman. Kohli has eight centuries against Australia in 48 ODIs played. The veteran has been a consistent run scorer for India in the ICC World Cup 2023 and has achieved many milestones in the tournament

The last time both teams clashed against each other in the ICC World Cup 2023 was on October 8. In that match, India's lead spinner Ravindra Jadeja struck three important wickets of Australia and made them settle for 199. The host team lost the early wickets of their opening batsmen. Thereafter, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul displayed an extraordinary show with the willow. Kohli smashed 85 runs and Rahul played an unbeaten knock of 97 runs. India won the match by six wickets
