The clash between South Africa and Sri Lanka will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The coin toss will be flipped around 1:30 pm and the match will commence at 2 pm. This will be the second match played on October 7, as the first match for the day between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan started in the morning at Dharmashala

Proteas (South Africa) will look to start their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign with a positive mindset after the ODI series win against Australia right before the start of the mega event.
