The 13th match of the marquee event between England and Afghanistan will be played in Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. The coin for the toss will be flipped around 1.30 pm and the match will start at 2.00 pm. Jos Buttler will lead England ahead in their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign. Afghanistan will play their further matches under Hashmatullah Shahidi

England has played two matches in the tournament so far and has won one against Bangladesh and has lost one against New Zealand. Afghanistan has played two games but has not won any of those two matches. Afghanistan's lead spinner Rashid Khan has not been very successful in picking wickets in the tournament till now but will look to strike in today's clash against England. If Afghanistan loses today, it will be their third consecutive loss in the ICC World Cup 2023

England's star all-rounder Ben Stokes has started getting better, but he needs to be fit to play, said Joe Root. Stokes is doubtful for today's match and England have felt the absence of his contribution in their previous matches. A must-watch clash between England and Afghanistan awaits!
