Born on February 9, 1970, Glenn McGrath is a former Australian fast bowler, who played Tests, ODIs, and T20s for his country. He is considered one of the greatest bowlers in cricketing history, and a leading contributor to Australia's domination of world cricket from the 1990s to the mid-2000s.

Glenn McGrath was born to parents Beverly and Kevin McGrath. He grew up in Narromine, New South Wales (NSW), where he first played cricket, and his potential was spotted by another Australian cricketer Doug Walters.

Glenn McGrath's first wife, Jane Louise, was born in the United Kingdom and had worked as a flight attendant before their marriage. Glenn and Jane met at a Hong Kong nightclub in 1995 and got married in 2001. They had two children, James and Holly. Jane McGrath fought recurrent battles with breast cancer, throughout their marriage.

Jane McGrath passed away, aged 42, on June 22, 2008, to the deadly disease. 

Glenn McGrath met his second wife Sara Leonardi, an interior designer, during the 2009 Indian Premier League. They got married on November 18, 2010.

Glenn McGrath and his wife Sara have a daughter named Madison Mary Harper McGrath, who was born on September 4, 2015.

In 2002, Glenn McGrath and his first wife Jane founded the McGrath Foundation, a breast cancer support and education charity in Australia, which raises money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and increase breast awareness in young women.

Since 2007, the third day of the first Test held in Sydney Cricket Ground is named Jane McGrath Day.
