AB de Villiers, also famously known as ABD or South Africa's Superman, is one of cricket's most loved and respected players of the game.
AB de Villiers is a former South African cricketer who played as a batsman and wicket-keeper for the South Africa cricket team. He was born on February 17, 1984.
AB de Villiers was considered as one of the best batsmen in the world while he was at his peak for the national team.
AB de Villiers holds many batting records, including the world's fastest ODI 50, 100 and 150, the fastest Test century by a South African and the fastest T20 International 50 by a South African batsman.
AB de Villiers was born in Warmbad, South Africa. The 360 man did his high-schooling with current South Africa Test captain Faf du Plessis.
AB De Villiers proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Danielle, at the Taj Mahal in 2012. They now have three sons.
AB de Villiers' father was a doctor who had played rugby in his youth, and he encouraged his son to play sports. AB de Villiers, however, was most interested in cricket.
AB de Villiers has some of the best stats for a batsman in South African cricket's history, he has scored 8,765 runs with 22 hundreds in Test matches. AB de Villiers also scored 9,577 runs in ODIs which includes 25 hundreds.

AB de Villiers is also an accomplished guitar player and a singer. In 2010, he released a bilingual pop album entitled Maak Jou Drome Waar.
AB de Villiers has played domestic cricket for many clubs such as Delhi Daredevils, Barbados Tridents, Tshwane Spartans, Rangpur Riders, Lahore Qalandars and Brisbane Heat. However, his most famous club is Royal Challengers Bangalore at the IPL.
At the 2019 IPL, AB de Villiers played 13 matches and scored 442 runs. His highest was unbeaten 82.
In his IPL career, AB de Villiers has played 184 matches and scored 5,162 runs at an average of 39.71. His highest score is 133*. ABD has 3 centuries and 40 fifties.
