In the very first Test of BGT 2023 which was held in Nagpur, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was named as the "Player of the Match." In the Aussies' first innings, Jadeja claimed five wickets for just 47 runs. In the visitor's second innings, the spinner managed to bag two wickets for 34 runs. After delivering with the ball, Ravindra Jadeja also made crucial contributions by playing a knock of 84 runs off 174 deliveries which was laced with 10 fours and 1 six

In the following second Test match in Delhi, Jadeja snapped three wickets for 68 runs in Australia's first innings. In the second essay, the veteran created havoc in the Kangaroos' batting lineup by bagging seven scalps. With the willow, he scored 26 runs in 74 balls by smashing 4 fours in the first innings

Even in the third Test, Jadeja claimed four wickets in the opponent's first essay. But in this match, India's Test specialist, Cheteshwar Pujara made it to the headlines. In the hosts' second innings in the Indore Test, Pujara faced 142 balls and accumulated 59 runs. The innings saw him smash 5 fours and 1 six

After struggling to find himself among the runs, Team India's stalwart Virat Kohli showcased the knock of patience and absolute classical strokes in his innings. He played a knock of 186 runs which came in 364 balls including 15 fours. There was one more centurion for India in this Test. Shubman Gill! Facing 235 deliveries, the right-hander smashed 12 fours and 1 six. His innings ended with a score of 128 runs
