Trent Boult was born in Rotura, New Zealand in 1989 and is a star fast bowler in the NZ national team.

Trent Boult got engaged to his girlfriend Gert Smith in June 2016. Trent Boult and Gert Smith tied the knot a year later in August 2017. The wedding ceremony was a private affair held at Kauri Bay Boomrock.

Trent Boult and his wife Gert Smith welcomed their son in 2018 and currently reside in Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand.

Trent Boult made his Test debut for New Zealand in December 2011. Since then Boult has played 67 matches taking 267 wickets at an average of 27.65. Boult's best bowling figures are 6/30.

Trent Boult made his ODI debut for New Zealand in July 2012. Boult has since played 90 matches taking 164 wickets at an average of 25.29. 

Trent Boult's best figures are an astonishing 7/34 and he ranks in the top 10 for best bowling in ODI history.

Trent Boult's debut in T20Is came in 2013 and the pacer has featured in 27 matches with 39 wickets averaging at 21.89. His best figures are 4/34.

Trent Boult, who is a left-arm fast-medium swing bowler, is known for his deceptive pace for the height he possesses.

Trent Boult ranks fourth in New Zealand's list of most Test wickets with 267.

In 2015, Trent Boult was the leading wicket taker for New Zealand at the ICC World Cup.

It was after this that Trent Boult entered the IPL after he was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad. He played 7 matches taking 9 wickets

In February 2017, Trent Boult was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 5 crore. During the 2017 IPL, Boult played 6 matches taking just 5 wickets.

In 2018, Trent Boult was bagged by Delhi Capitals. The 2018 IPL was his best season as he played 14 matches taking 18 wickets.

In 2019, Trent Boult was bought by Mumbai Indians team. During that season he played 5 matches with 5 wickets to his name.
