Born on July 18, 1996, Smriti Mandhana is currently the no.1 ranked Women's ODI cricketer in the world.

Smriti Mandhana is a left-handed opening batsman for the Indian national cricket team, she has played a major role in most of India's wins in the recent past.

Smriti Mandhana has been awarded the ICC Best Female Cricketer Of The Year in December 2018. Mandhana was also awarded the ICC ODI Player Of The Year at the same time.

Smriti Mandhana was born to parents Smita and Shrinivas Mandhana in Mumbai. After a couple of years, her family moved to Sangli in Maharashtra.

Smriti Mandhana's family takes care of her cricket career. Her father, a chemical distributor, looks after her cricket, her mother is in charge of Smriti's diet and her brother is her coach on the field.
