Shahbaz Nadeem was born on August 12, 1989, in Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Today, he celebrates his 31st birthday.

Shahbaz Nadeem has been viewed as a potential top left-arm slow bowler.

 

The budding cricketer has played 117 first-class cricket matches and has an astonishing 443 wickets to his name.

Shahbaz Nadeem's best bowling figures in first-class is 7/45. Nadeem's first class cricket bowling average is 28.66.

In 2012, Shahbaz Nadeem played for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) in what would be a promising debut IPL season. He was also nominated for IPL Rising Star of the Year.

Over a decade ago, Shahbaz Nadeem's father, a deputy superintendent of police (DSP), had apparently told him (Shahbaz) and his elder brother Assad, that only one of them could pursue cricket.

Shabaz Nadeem's brother Assad, who was the U-19 captain for the Bihar team, then decided to make a sacrifice and step aside and let Shahbaz pursue his dream.

During consecutive years in Ranji Trophy, Shahbaz Nadeem finished with most wickets in the tournament.

During the 2019 Indian Premier League, Shahbaz Nadeem was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Shahbaz Nadeem made his Test debut on October 19, 2019, against South Africa and finished with figures 4/40 in the match.

Shahbaz Nadeem has played 122 T20 matches and has taken 103 wickets with best bowling figures of 3/16
