After divorcing his wife, 46-year-old Herschelle Gibbs found love again in Gill

Born on February 23, 1974, Herschelle Gibbs is a former South African cricketer who used to open the batting for the national cricket team in the 1990s and 2000s.

Herschelle Gibbs along with Jonty Rhodes was considered as one of the two best fielders to ever play the game.

On June 8, 2007, Herschelle Gibbs got married in St Kitts to Tenielle Povey but divorced in a short span of time.

Herschelle Gibbs is currently in a relationship with a lady named Gill Phillips Clemen. The couple look so in love with all the photos they post on Instagram

Herschelle Gibbs is also the first-ever cricketer to hit 6 sixes in a single over when he achieved the feat in a 2007 World Cup match against the Netherlands.

Herschelle Gibbs was schooled at St Joseph's Marist College and then Diocesan College in South Africa.

 Herschelle Gibbs was a talented sportsman at school featuring in SA Schools teams for rugby, cricket and football.

Herschelle Gibbs was also involved in match-fixing in the late 1990s. He had testified in front of a panel that former South Africa captain Hansie Cronje had approached him with an offer to underperform in a particular match, but he did not go ahead with the offer. 

 

 Herschelle Gibbs was suspended for six months from the sport after the testification.

Herschelle Gibbs played for IPL franchises like Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians and also in other domestic teams Cape Cobras, Perth Scorchers, Durham Dynamos, Yorkshire and Glamorgan.

Herschelle Gibbs has played 90 Tests scoring 6,167 runs with 14 hundreds and 26 fifties. His batting average is 41.95

In the 248 ODIs he played, Herschelle Gibbs scored 8,094 runs with 21 centuries and 37 fifties. Gibbs' highest ODI score is 175 at an average of 36.13
