Umesh Yadav is an Indian cricketer who plays for the country in all three formats of international cricket including Tests, T20Is and ODIs.
According to reports, Umesh Yadav met Tanya Wadhwa at an event and later went on to date each other for almost four years.
Umesh Yadav got engaged to Tanya Wadhwa on April 16, 2013.
Umesh Yadav and Tanya Wadhwa went on to tie the knot a month later on May 29, 2019.
Umesh Yadav's wife Tanya Wadhwa is a fashion designer based in Delhi. Tanya has often sorted out Umesh Yadav's wardrobe.
Umesh Yadav is considered one of the fastest pace bowlers in India, he can consistently clock speeds of over 140 kmph.
Umesh Yadav also plays for Vidarbha in domestic cricket and he became the first player from Vidarbha to play for India in Test cricket.
Umesh Yadav was the star of the Indian team during the 2015 World Cup and finished as the highest wicket-taker for the team.
In his early years, Umesh Yadav wanted to join the Indian security forces and even had applied for selections but was unsuccessful.
Umesh Yadav first entered in the IPL in 2008, when he was selected by Delhi Daredevils for Rs. 18 Lakhs. However, he did not play any match that year.
Umesh Yadav debuted in the 2010 IPL for Delhi and picked up 6 wickets during the campaign. After having played for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) till 2013, Umesh Yadav moved to Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2014 IPL season.
During the 2018 IPL auction Umesh Yadavw as bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore and since then, Yadav has been in the ranks of the IPL franchise.
Umesh Yadav played 14 matches in 2018 IPL and 11 matches in IPL 2019 taking 20 and 8 wickets respectively. The 2018 IPL season was his best ever.
Umesh Yadav has played a total of 121 IPL matches with an astonishing 119 wickets at an average of 30.07. His best figures are 4/24.
