Mel McLaughlin, born in September 1979, is an Australian sports presenter for the Seven Network. McLaughlin previously worked for Fox Sports where she hosted football (soccer) shows including Kick Off and Indian Super League, while also being a regular on a sports channel.

Mel McLaughlin was raised in New South Wales, Australia, where she attended St Andrew's Primary School and St John Paul II Catholic College.

Mel McLaughlin got married to her musician boyfriend Luke Panic, but later divorced in 2014.

In January 2016, cricketer Chris Gayle propositioned McLaughlin during a live interview during a Big Bash League game. He was sanctioned with a USD 10,000 fine for inappropriate conduct.
