November 15, 1989: Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut against Pakistan at Karachi. He played just one innings scoring 15 runs off 24 balls, hitting 2 boundaries. He was bowled by Waqar Younis, who interestingly, made his Test debut in the same match as well.
