West Indies batsman and IPL star Chris Gayle is busy making the most of his free time following the suspension of the IPL 2021.
The IPL 2021 edition was indefinitely postponed earlier this month due to coronavirus cases that emerged in the cash-rich T20 league. It all happened when a few members and cricketers from IPL franchises such as Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad tested positive for Covid-19.
The players and staff were quarantined and most have recovered from the virus. Most IPL players have now reached their respective nations amid the lockdown in the state and city.
Meanwhile, Chris Gayle, who along with a few Australian cricketers, were taken to the Maldives following the suspension of IPL, decided to take the opportunity to make the most of his time in the Maldives. The Australian contingent returned back home Down Under but Gayle decided to extend his stay.
