India are currently on tour for a 4-match Test series which will end on August 22.

India have played West Indies in 90 Tests with West Indies winning 30 Tests, India winning 16 and 44 drawn matches.

The highest total in a Test match between the two is 644/7d by India way back in 1979. India has also scored the lowest total when they were all out for just 75 runs in 1987.

The all time leading scorer between the two teams in Tests is Sunil Gavaskar with 2749 runs. He also has the most Test hundreds with 13 to his name. The leading wicket taker is Kapil Dev with 89 wickets. Kapil Dev also has the best bowling figures in a match with 9/83.

West Indies have not one a Test match against India since 2002. Their last encounter in a Test match was in November 2013.
