IES New English School, Bandra were shot out for just 72 in response to Swami Vivekanand International School's (SVIS, Gorai) 298-8 on the second day of the three-day U-14 Giles Shield inter-school final at the Wankhede Stadium.

Pacer Vardhan Patel scalped six wickets for 35 runs as IES, eight for one overnight, collapsed in a heap. SVIS posted 189-8 in their second innings with Arjun Lotlikar contributing a valuable 63. Devansh Trivedi helped himself to a half-century as well, while Dhaviet Prakash returned figures of 3-30. Chasing 411 runs for victory, IES were 38-3 at the end of the day's play.
