Sulakshan Kulkanri
Former Tamil Nadu coach Sulakshan Kulkarni, who famously stated that TN lost their 2023-24 Ranji Trophy semi-final to Mumbai as soon as skipper R Sai Kishore won the toss and batted, will now coach Maharashtra.
Kulkarni, who also played and coached Mumbai, was appointed the Maharashtra senior team's head coach recently.

MCA officials travelled to Chennai 15 days ago to discuss their plans with Maharashtra captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is leading Chennai Super Kings in IPL-17. "We identified two-three coaches for the job and then shortlisted Sulakshan as he is a known coach. We discussed Sulakshan's name with our captain Ruturaj and he is very happy with the choice," said Mulay, who is also MCA's Apex Council member.
Kulkarni had guided TN to a Ranji Trophy knockout entry after eight years. They ended up losing to Mumbai by an innings and 70 runs in the semi-final at the MCA-BKC ground in March.
