Shane Warne posts pic with Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara: Great friends, we always tried to entertain

Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne, who is quite an active sports celebrity on social media, recently posted a photo along with his former opponents and cricket legends - Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara.

Warne, who is regarded as a legend in spin, along with on-field rivals Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, who are regarded as one of the biggest batting legends in the game, formed a crucial part of cricket from the 1990s to mid-2000s.

While sharing the photo, Warne wrote, "Great battles on the field and great friends of the field! The three of us always tried our best to entertain and play the game in the right spirit, plus inspire people @sachintendulkar @brianlaraofficial."

The post has received over 40,000 likes ever since it went up on social media.

Shane Warne was known for his on-field battles with Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara and the three former cricketers put on a spectacle for the cricket fraternity and fans alike.

Shane Warne is the second-leading wicket-taker in Test cricket only behind Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan. Warne has bagged 708 wickets in the 145 Tests he played with an average of 25.42.
