Though Ajinkya Rahane's Mumbai team are leading the Elite Group âB' table with 30 points, India pacer Shardul Thakur reckons it's too early to say anything about winning the coveted Ranji Trophy this season. The 41-time champions play their last league game against Assam (eight points) at Mumbai Cricket Association's Bandra Kurla Complex ground from today.

"It's too early to say. We have three hurdles before lifting the trophy - quarter-final, semi-final and the final. The team look very balanced. We are probably lacking runs at the top," said Shardul, who is happy to see opener Prithvi Shaw coming back and scoring runs. "Even Bhupen Lalwani... we have got a good opening pair now who are scoring runs," Thakur told reporters on Thursday.
