Usman Khawaja's centuries in both innings of the Sydney Test match is a proper slap on the faces of those who kept him away from the Australian team over the last two years.

The series on TV where cameras were allowed unprecedented access to the Australian cricket team's dressing room for around 16 months after the sandpaper scandal in South Africa in 2018, shows an incident where Khawaja tells the team coach what the rest of the team is feeling about him.

He hardly played another game after that and has just got a place back in the team and that too because Travis Head got Covid and couldn't play in the Sydney Test match. With Head being fit for the last and final Test, will Khawaja keep his place?

That will be interesting to see.
