Left-arm spinners Veerasammy Permaul (5-35) and Jomel Warrican (4-50) combined for nine Sri Lanka wickets with career-best performances. Permaul, in his first Test in more than five years, snared 5-35 to register his first five-wicket haul. Warrican took 4-50, also a career best.
