Milind Rege
Former Mumbai captain and chief selector Milind Rege wants Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) members to give priority to cricketing matters during the association's various meetings.
Rege, 73, who has served Mumbai's cricket in different capacities for the last five decades, spent nearly four hours at MCA's 85th Annual General Meeting at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday evening.
"I urged MCA to give importance to discussing cricket and cricketing matters in the meetings and take the help of three legendary âkars' of Mumbai cricket [Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, and Dilip Vengsarkar]. This will strengthen the city's cricket," Rege told mid-day.com after the AGM on Tuesday.
