The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) was forced to shut its Bandra Kurla Complex indoor academy on Thursday after an U-25 Mumbai player tested positive for
Coronavirus.
The player, whose test returned positive on Wednesday, was part of the fitness camp.
The academy will be non-operational for three days for sanitisation purposes.
"As a precaution, we have cancelled all sessions at the Academy for the next three days. We have asked all players and support staff who were present at the Academy to get tested again," MCA's executive secretary CS Naik stated in an email to the association's Apex Council members.
