Maharashtra Young produced a collective all-round performance to register a comfortable 48-run victory over Young Boys Cricket Club in the final of the 8th MCA Bhaskar Thakur Memorial boys U-12 cricket tournament at the Wankhede Stadium recently.

Electing to bat, Maharashtra Young scored 183-7 off their 35 overs. Arjuna Sanghavi was their top scorer with 39 runs off 55 balls. For Young Boys CC, Swar Gharat took 2-10 while Aakash Tripathi picked up 2-30.

In response, Young Boys could only manage 135-9. Middle-order batter Arjun B top-scored with an unbeaten 58 off 64 balls. Maharashtra Young's Lakshya Bhor claimed 3-10 while Shaunak Gawade bagged 2-27.
