Much to the dismay of fans around the globe, the much-anticipated encounter between India and Pakistan in Ahmedabad for the 2023 ICC Men's ODI World Cup on October 15 could be rescheduled for another date citing security concerns.
As per several media reports, the match could be rescheduled to an earlier day, though an official confirmation is awaited on this matter.
It is learnt that security agencies have advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to change the itinerary due to Navratri's first day - that happens on the same day as the scheduled date.
