Chasing 318 for a win in the first ODI against India here on Tuesday, England seemed to be running away with the game at 135-0 in just over 14 overs. But what followed was a bit of an anti-climax as the visitors lost all their 10 wickets for just 116 more runs in 42.1 overs. At times, their aggressive strokes despite having the required run-rate well under control looked questionable, but that's not something that worries England skipper Eoin Morgan at all.

And if at all one thought they would change the batting approach in the future, just forget it. "Being able to take the attack to the opposition is something that we pride ourselves on. We want to continue to push the envelope in that regard," Morgan said after the match.

"It's better for us to lose like this than losing by 10-20 runs playing in a completely different manner that doesn't suit us. The game is always moving forward, technology and fitness are moving forward, so we need to push hard as we can. It's important for us to dictate the way we play," the skipper explained.
