Indian women's cricketer and T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur is the latest sports star to test positive for coronavirus.
Harmanpreet Kaur got tested on March 29, Monday after she showed mild symptoms. Kaur did not play in the T20 series against South Africa in Lucknow after she suffered an injury during the fifth ODI on March 17.
Harmanpreet Kaur went on to give her fans and well-wishers an update on her status. She wrote, "Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am feeling okay and have quarantined myself by following all guidelines advised by the authorities and my doctors. A humble request to all those people who have come in contact with me in the last 7 days to please get themselves tested to be on the safer side. By god's grace and your well wishes, I will be back on the field soon. I urge you all to please wear masks and stay safe. Love, Harman."

During the ODI series, Harmanpreet Kaur showed some good form after she scored a half-century as well as 40. The India eves went on to lose the T20I and ODI series against South Africa.
