Deshpande shines in Mumbai’s win over Baroda

A disciplined bowling show from pacer Tushar Deshpande (3-20) helped Mumbai beat Baroda by three runs in a last-over thriller at the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy in Jaipur on Thursday.

Batting first, Mumbai managed 142-8 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Baroda skipper Krunal Pandya gave the defending champions a scare before he was dismissed by Deshpande for 62 off 50 balls in the 19th over.
