Former England fast bowler has reportedly left his family home in the UK which he’s been sharing with his wife, over an alleged affair with Amy Childs — 20 years his junior
Former England fast bowler Darren Gough has reportedly left his family home near Milton Keynes in Buckhinghamshire, which he's been sharing with his wife, over an alleged affair with hottie Amy Childs - 20 years his junior, reported British tabloid The Sun.
The 43-year-old former speedster met 23-year-old Amy while filming for Channel 4 reality show The Jump in January in Austria and the duo are said to have come really close.
Boozing, flirting
One evening at a party, in Innsbruck, where alcohol was flowing freely, the couple are said to have openly flirted with each other. The couple have also exchanged some saucy text messages. In one such tweet, Amy wrote: "Darren I;m going to give you a pe-jazzle xxx." He replied: "Lots of diamonds please." Amy was offering to do a male version of "vajazzle" - decorating the private parts of a woman with crystals after a bikini wax.
Former England, Yorkshire and Essex pacer Gough, currently a pundit on radio station TalkSport - divorced his wife Anna in 2002 after eight years of marriage but got back together in 2009. They have two sons - the eldest being four years younger than Amy. She has been single since her split from personal trainer David Peters last year.
Nothing physical
Sources close to Darren and Amy confirmed that they both fancy each other, but Amy has "not yet slept with Darren as she's not the sort of girl to sleep with a married man."
Both, Darren and Amy however, have denied that they are in a relationship. Amy's spokesperson said: "Amy and Darren met while filming for The Jump. They became good friends and remain so, they have never been involved in a relationship."
