India's attacking batsman Suryakumar Yadav is currently on national duty with the Rohit Sharma-led team playing the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka. However, despite a busy schedule, Suryakumar is keeping an eye on his club, Parsee Gymkhana's progress in the ongoing Dr HD Kanga Cricket League. In a high-scoring game, hosts Parsee Gym lost to MIG Cricket Club at their home ground on Sunday. But Suryakumar is confident that Parsee Gym will bounce back in the next game.

On learning about his team's losses through their WhatsApp group, he sent an inspiring message to Parsee Gym's vice-president and cricket secretary Khodadad Yazdegardi. "No worries, sir. Happens sometime. But we are playing a good brand of cricket. Vinu da [coach Vinayak Mane] has said it spot on. We will be back stronger."

"Surya is very active on our team WhatsApp group. He keeps posting messages to motivate the youngsters and the team. He watches all our games live on Pitch Vision or Rainbow Warriors YouTube channel whenever PG is playing. That's his commitment and loyalty to the club," Yazdegardi said.
