Now that India vs Pakistan is a closed chapter for the defending champions in the Champions Trophy, the focus seems to be on the appointment of India's head coach.
All three from the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) - Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman - are in the United Kingdom and will be able to conduct the coach interviews, they do not know when the interviews will be held.

Virender Sehwag, who has now emerged a big contender was to return to India for television studio work, but is staying put in England. Sehwag too does not know when he will be interviewed for the job. Nor is it known whether former India batsman Lalchand Rajput and ex-swing bowler Dodda Ganesh will be summoned to London to meet the committee or will the interviews be done via Skype.
Meanwhile, current head coach Kumble has reportedly re-applied for the coach's position. His contract ends with the Champions Trophy.
