Ashwin may have to be benched due to Kotla track

The Kotla here has always been known for its spinning ways. But guess what, India may have to drop one of their spinners (they played three in the game against Australia in Chennai on Sunday) in today's match against Afghanistan.

Team India are expected to play only two spinners on a track not expected to turn as much. Ravindra Jadeja is near indispensable while Kuldeep Yadav needs as many games to get into the groove to be the dangerous weapon he can be. Hence, Ravichandran Ashwin may be excluded from the XI while pacer Shardul Thakur comes in.
