Yousuf slams PCB for 'ruining careers'

Former Pakistan skipper Muhammad Yousuf blamed the Cricket Board (PCB) for ruining careers of the national cricketers.


"There are some people in the cricket system with vested interests and inflated egos and they don't even care if their decisions hurt Pakistan cricket. I have seen many examples of this in the past," Yousuf was quoted as saying by PTI.

Yousuf fumed about the board's disrespect towards senior players. "A great player like Wasim Akram did not retire, he was forced out by this system."

He added that the board members have no clue about player requirements. u00a0"Yet, they are the ones running Pakistan cricket."
