Pakistan bowling legend Wasim Akram on Wednesday gave bowling tips and classes to Arjun Tendulkar, as father Sachin Tendulkar looked on at the Wankhede Stadium
Kolkata Knight Riders were still to hit the Wankhede Stadium turf for a practice session on Wednesday when Pakistan pace great Wasim Akram was out of the dressing room and heading straight towards a net where Sachin Tendulkar was coaching his son Arjun.

Tendulkar, the doting father, collected balls as his 15-year-old son bowled with gusto. Soon, Akram joined them in the nets and was seen giving tips to the young left-arm medium pacer.
"I met Arjun last summer in England where we played an exhibition match. He was bowling and I was fielding at mid-on. I think he got Brian Lara out. I spoke to him about his action, swing and fitness which is very important. He is like a sponge - very eager (to learn)," the 48-year-old bowling legend said. Arjun then bowled in the nets to Mumbai Indians batters.

Arjun also got fielding lessons from South African great Jonty Rhodes and former India pacer Subroto Banerjee, who also guides the junior Tendulkar in the bowling department quite often at the Bandra Kurla Complex ground.
Arjun has been a member of Mumbai's age group squad over the last couple of years.
