Australian all-rounder Shane Watson and fianc ufffde Lee Furlong, a Fox Sports reporter, will tie the nuptial knot during a low-key, private ceremony in Sydney on Saturday.u00a0
Watson said that he has shunned a magazine deal offered to him, and will make it official in front of close friends and family.
"We never really considered [a magazine deal] to be honest. For us it's more an excuse to get all of our friends and families in the one place," The Daily Telegraph quoted Watson, as saying.
"I can't understand why anyone would want to sell that. And it's always the people who don'ts need the money," he added.
Meanwhile, Furlong admitted that she was prepared for the possibility of being "papped".
"I don't think it will affect us though. It's just going to be a lovely, casual day with our family and friends. If it happens, it happens. It won't matter," Furlong said.
The couple was introduced in 2006 by Watson's teammate Brett Lee, while the all-rounder had popped the question to Furlong in October 2009.u00a0
