On one hand, Eoin Morgan's men will be determined to put behind the Wednesday battering suffered at the hands of Chris Gayle. On the other, England have to now cope with the threat of South Africa's top gun AB de Villiers.

Star-studded batting
Meanwhile, South Africa captain Faf du Plessis has some news for the England camp as well: Apart from De Villiers, they have other in-form batsmen.

"AB is in good form at the moment and playing some good cricket. We are looking forward to see what AB does for us in the tournament, but as I mentioned, we have a few guys who are looking good. The whole batting line-up looks in good form and it is a dangerous sign for the opposition," Du Plessis told the media yesterday.

The South African batting line-up is formidable - Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, De Villiers, David Miller, Jean-Paul Duminy and of course, the skipper himself. All-rounders Chris Morris and David Wiese will be hungry as well.

England's wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler said that the team is looking ahead to the challenge. "Plenty of good things need to be done. We have to leave the last game in the past and put all our energy and effort in the coming game. We need to learn from the mistakes we made against West Indies and improve," said Buttler.

England side, who posted a competitive 182 against West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday once again have to depend on Alex Hales and Jason Roy to give them a good start.
