New Delhi: Indian cricket team was swamped with congratulatory messages on twitter for their convincing six-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan in an ICC World Twenty20 match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata with batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar leading the charge by thanking Virat Kohli for his match-winning knock.

Kohli was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of quality of batsmanship as he played a special knock of unbeaten 55 runs off just 37 balls on a difficult Eden pitch to guide India home. Soon after reaching his fifty, Kohli took a bow for Tendulkar, who was present at the stands and the batting stalwart was floored by the gesture.
