If television cameras pan on Sandeep Patil during India games of the ICC World T20, it will be safe to assume that the chairman of India selectors has not had any hassles in being where he is at the respective venue.

However, as of now, Patil will not be attending India games after experiencing an embarrassing time during the India vs New Zealand opener in Nagpur last week.

A national newspaper reported yesterday that Patil and his fellow selector Vikram Rathour were asked to leave the President's Box at Vidarbha Cricket Stadium in Jamtha. The report said that Patil left for his hotel room while Rathour watched the game from the stands.

Patil had no comments to offer when mid-day contacted him yesterday and his silence could be well mean that the chairman of selectors is so hurt and bitter over it that he doesn't want to talk about it.

Patil and his fellow selectors have watched domestic and international matches religiously and have contributed in no small measure in the Indian team's status in world cricket.

If ever Patil gets down to writing his second autobiography (Sandy Storm was the first), we'll get to know the full story.
