As Delhi battles one of its worst smog in recent years, Indian Test captain Virat Kohli, also a resident of the capital city, took to Twitter to express his concern.
He posted a video on Twitter, asking please be more aware, adding that the future depends on how we act now. Kohli added that it was heartbreaking to see the pollution levels rise so high.

Life is precious is nature is our lifeline. The air we breathe, the water we drink. It is our responsibility to be more conscious, he tweeted.
Environment, not for an individual, not for your family but for humanity. Let's not destroy nature, let's not destroy our future #DelhiSmog, Kohli said in another tweet.
The smog is Delhi has also led to the cancellation of two Ranji Trophy matches. Meanwhile, Kohli-led India will face England in the first of the five-Tests starting on Wednesday at Rajkot.
