Luis Suarez scored a brace in the second half to earn the victory for the 14-time champions. And the Liverpool striker was delighted to have put his country into the showpiece final. "It's an extra plus to play the final in Argentina," Suarez told Argentine TV station Telefe. "We have to enjoy, celebrate and focus on the objective, which is the final."
On Sunday, Uruguay can become the most successful nation in the history of the competition. Tied with Argentina with 14 Copa titles, Uruguay can claim a record 15th if they beat either Paraguay or Venezuela in the final.
