Twitterati 'celebrate' former Indian opener Virender Sehwag's 'official' 'crowning' as the 'Nawab of Twitter'. The post has till date received more than 9,000 likes
It's 'official'! Virender Sehwag 'rules', has been 'crowned' 'King of Twitter'
Virender Sehwag, just remember: 'Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown'
Former Indian opener may have been known for his trailblazing batting during his playing days, but now, in his second innings, he is famous for his witticism and for trolling celebrities on the social media.
Well, the'Sultan of Multan', who retired from all forms of cricket in 2015, has been the 'Nawab of Twitter for some time. But it seems Viru wasn't happy about being given the unofficial title (and not being officially crowned) so he posted a picture of his from the Delhi wedding reception thrown by Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech on Twitter. The photo shows him standing at the reception with a chandelier creating a halo or a crown around his head.
The 38-year-old, who is currently hosting the 'Viru Ke Funde' web series, didn't give one of his usual witty captions. After all, 'THIS' picture is worth a thousand words.
His 8 millions 'fans' on Twitter could't stop talking about his being 'crowned' 'The King'. The post has received more than 9,000 likes.
And thus it was that despite the reception seeing the likes of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar attending, it was Viru paaji who ultimately stole the limelight.
THIS IS WHAT THE 'NAWAB OF TWITTER' POSTED:
