Thane resident Tushar Shigwan inked a deal to get some IPL experience.
However, Tushar is not a cricketer but a crazy fan who got himself tattooed with the Mumbai Indians logo and will now watch their match in South Africa.
Tushar entered himself in a competition organised by a radio station along with one other contestant. To win, he had to get inked by tattoo artist Hakim Aalim at the Hair and Tattoo Lounge. But his opponent backed out due to pain.
"It hurt me a little too but Hakim helped me through it," Tushar told MiD DAY.
The 21-year-old is currently enjoying his college vacations and said it would be a dream come true when he meets some of his idols. "Obviously, I want to meet Sachin (Tendulkar). But I'm also very excited about meeting Zaheer Khan and Jonty Rhodes.
"I hope I get to watch Mumbai's match against Deccan Chargers or Chennai Super Kings. This time I'm sure we'll do better than last year since we have Sachin from the beginning and also the team has improved," said Tushar, whose second favourite team is the Delhi Daredevils.
