The Indian cricket team arrived in Chandigarh on Saturday to play the World Cup semi-final match against Pakistan at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium in Mohali on March 30. The Pakistan team arrived here yesterday.
The Indian cricketers reached here this afternoon and straightaway boarded the bus that was escorted by heavy security on their way to the team hotel, where Pakistan team is also staying.
The team hotel has been turned into a fortress, giving fans and autograph seekers little chance of getting anywhere close.
Media persons were not allowed to go inside.
