Riding on Sheldon Jackson's half-century, Saurashtra registered a 61-run win over Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament in Pune.

Skipper Jaydev Shah scored 39 while Chirag Jani made an unbeaten 36 to help Saurashtra put 177 on board after electing to bat. Jackson's 37-ball 53 was laced with five fours and three sixes. Mumbai's 15-year-old Sidak Singh, playing his second game, gave away only 15 runs in his four overs.

Mumbai could score only 116-9 in 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav's unbeaten 37 was the only high point. Saurashtra's Arpit Vasavada and Dharmendrasingh Jadeja bowled economically and scalped two wickets each.
